ID Proofing Individual Income Tax
Working with the Michigan Department of Treasury, we were successful in obtaining a win for one of our clients on the Income Tax Refund Analysis Services contract for over $2.5 million. This contract involves “ID Proofing” of Individual Income Taxes.
Michigan Public Safety Communications Refresh
Working with the Governor’s Office, the Department of Technology, Management and Budget, and the Michigan Department of State Police, we were successful in obtaining a $150 million line item for the refresh of the Michigan Public Safety Communications System for which our client is a subcontractor, providing the backbone microwave for the system. We were also successful in having the client added as a subcontractor on the State’s Master Telecommunications contract.
Contact center services for the state of michigan
Working across a number of state departments, we helped establish our client as the State standard for IVR [Interactive Voice Response]. The client recently revamped the contact center system used by the State’s Unemployment Insurance Agency and the Agency Director was very pleased with the new system. At our suggestion he intends to showcase it as a model program with his counterparts across the country. This will bring positive attention and potentially more opportunity to the client from other states. We are having similar success with the Department of Human Services’ Office of Child Support. Our efforts are now focusing on introducing additional client enhanced contact center services to the State.
Medical record conversion
Working with the State Legislature, we were successful in obtaining a $4.5 million appropriation for the transformation of medical records to electronic form. Our client was then able to bid on and win this work.
Energy Contacts with the State of WIsconsin
Via our contacts in the State of Wisconsin, we helped Unify – formerly Siemens Enterprise Communications – build a relationship with energy contacts in the State. Unify recently bid on and won a $3 million project with WE Energy. In Michigan we assisted Unify by facilitating introductions to the State’s Chief Technology Officer and other high level telecommunications staff in anticipation of a Request for Information (RFI) for Managed Voice and Unified Communications Services. We are now awaiting the posting of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for which we will assist Unify with their response.
